“Deeply influenced by the late 90’s/ early 2000 “expansion on the artform of turntablism” in the hip-hop world, Boston-based scratch dj/turntablist, Emoh (DJ Emoh Betta), has been manipulating vinyl since late 1998 and has been popping up everywhere around the New England area. At a time when DJs are now a rarity backing up rappers and musicians, Emoh is still pushing the artform of the scratch DJ, dj’ing shows, both solo, as well as, with the many different artists/groups/crews he represents. He is one third of Boston’s own vinyl killers, the Deck Demons, who are known to slay shows and competitions with their own unique styles and have both, as a crew and as solo djs, backed up many of the legendary artists who have played Boston in the past years. Emoh is the DJ for the following five hip-hop outfits; partyboobytrap, Time Crisis, Left Over Wine, Ghostpuncher Deluxe, and Blak Madeen; and has worked with many solo artists in and around New England. It is also known that he has a webbed-toe.

He has recently teamed up with the Bronx-bred lyrical maniac, C-Rayz Walz and has layed down all of the cuts on his new album, tentatively titled “Feel Me”, as well as making a cameo appearance in his new music video, “Destroy”, dressed as both a lumberjack and as a giant beaver. partyboobytap (Virtue, Exquisite Corpse, & Emoh) have recently been invited to tour eastern Canada with Project Blowedian/Rhymesayers own, Abstract Rude, as well as appearing on Milled Pavement’s compilation “Goosebumps 4.0”. It has also been rumored that Emoh will be handling the dj duties on Ira Lee and Riddlore?’s new project set to drop this year.”
